Meet our Team

Teenie Weenies is a privately, family owned and run childcare centre dedicated to striving for excellence in the care and development of your child.

We work towards meeting and exceeding all requirements and acknowledge the importance of play in early childhood development.

We are a small service with a close knit team who are dedicated, highly skilled and motivated educators.

Miss Marie
Director

I have always known that I wanted to be in the field of Early Childhood Education, and went straight into studying my Diploma after high school. I had a dream of opening an Early Childhood Centre, and the dream has turned into a reality with Teenie Weenies. 10 years on, and I am so proud of the service we have built together with my wonderful team of educators, and look forward to many more years of providing the community with a service that delivers quality care for children and families.

Mr. Chris
Chef

I have a passion for food and cooking, and enjoy experimenting with different dishes and cultural foods. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces when they excitedly ask me “What’s for lunch Mr. Chris?”, pushes me to provide nutritious and delicious food each and every day. I also own and run a catering business (Zafs Kitchen), which was built from my passion of cooking traditional Greek cuisine.

Miss Chrissy
Educator (Nominated Supervisor)

After accidently falling into the field of Early Childhood many years ago as an untrained educator, my journey to becoming an Early Childhood Teacher has been rewarding and fulfilling. Watching children learn and grow, building bonds with families, as well as challenging children to their full potential and capabilities, is what I am meant to be doing.

Miss Sandra
Educator

After sending my three children off to school, I decided on a career change, and entered the field of early childhood as an educator. Spending time with children and watching them grow is rewarding, and always interesting. Helping children learn through play and connecting with peers and educators, is so important for a great start to their learning and development.

Miss Senay
Educator

I believe that children develop a deep understanding by learning through play and I am passionate about bringing this to life. I have been working with children since 2019 and I love bringing a warm and loving environment to each service I have worked in. I love getting to know each child and their families and will continue to strive to create a welcoming environment for all. – Miss Senay

Miss Harriett
Educator

I started out in child care 19 years ago because I found it amazing to watch my own children grow from babies to preschoolers, then off to school. It is important as educators that we enhance children’s development through lots of different hands on experiences such as; cooking, art and gardening. I enjoy working together with families to ensure that children thrive each day.

Miss Suzana
Educator

I became an Early Childhood Educator because from a very young age I always loved children, so it seemed like a natural progression for me to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education. After completing my diploma I have been an Early Childhood educator for 25 years. I believe that children are better prepared for learning  when they are in a happy, safe and supportive environment. I recognise that all children are unique and encourage them to grow into confident and well balanced individuals.

Miss Mary
Educator

Every child is different, and therefore requires different care and attention. It is crucial that as an educator, I am able to understand the needs and wants of each individual child, so that they are able to grow and develop both physically and intellectually to their fullest potential.
